Learning at Lynd’s!

Lynd Fruit Farm has been an education destination providing quality tours to children for over 30 years.  A honeybee observation hive, an interactive powerpoint presentation, and a packing line or life of apple video  are all part of the tour teachers and students will enjoy in the 2017 apple tour. The Lil Farmer Tour gives youngsters an opportunity to learn while they ‘harvest’ different Ohio agricultural crops and sell them to the ‘market’. The story of Spookley the Square Pumpkin delivers a message of kindness and tolerance as students take a wagon ride on the farm.  Tours run Monday-Thursday starting September 6th (pumpkin tours start September 25th).  Check out the online tool kit available for teachers www.pacer.org/bullying/classroom/elementary/spookley/

At the farm, we welcome all classes grades K-3, pre-schools, homeschools, day cares and play groups (age 4-6) of 10 or more children. Registration is required and Bev will begin responding to requests August 8, 2017 on a first come, first served basis.

Please call or email Bev at (740)927-7013, bev@lyndfruitfarm.com.
