Growing peaches in central Ohio is a bit like a roller coaster ride, lots of ups and downs. The 2007 season finds us at the bottom of the ride due to abnormally low temperatures preceeding Easter weekend. We lost nearly all of our peach crop with a variety or two having a modest crop. We had a similar situation in 2005, and during that year we bought top quality peaches from a grower in Adam's County Pennsylvania, and we plan to do the same this year.
We will be selling tree-ripened peaches at our "tent at the corner" and will post availability on our website under the What's Happening Now section. Also, we encourage you to sign up for our email newsletter, The Cider Press, for the latest updates on peach availability.
