                                             goldrush

U-pick this weekend features Goldrush, Stayman Winesap, Rome, Granny Smith, and Braeburn (Granny Smith and Braeburn likely available only Friday).  U-pick hours are 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday - Sunday (10/19 - 10/21).

A note about Goldrush: it is the most intensely flavored apple we grow, stores extremely well, and is very versatile.  Our crop this year is outstanding, and you cannot buy them in grocery stores.  Plan a visit to the farm this weekend and sink your teeth into the Goldrush experience and discover a real treasure!

Stayman Winesap is an heirloom variety that has withstood the test of time!  Classic apple flavor combines with excellent baking qualities to make this apple a real winner.  The crop this year has never been better!

Rome originated in southern Ohio nearly two hundred years ago and has been grown on our Morse Road farm for four generations.  Rome trees laden with fruit are a thing of beauty!  A commonly asked question over the last two weekends by customers exiting the farm near the Rome trees is "What are those apples? We'd like to get some of them!"  They're available, just ask, and we'll point you in the right direction.

Granny Smith and Braeburn are two varieties we don't grow a lot of, but we do have them available for u-pick this weekend.  Supplies are limited and not likely to last past Friday evening or possibly Saturday morning.

The pumpkin patch is still loaded with pumpkins, your choice this weekend just $4 each.  Pumpkins are also avilable at the market in a wide range of sizes and shapes.  Priced from $1 and up.
