An abbreviated history of some of the people and events of Lynd Fruit Farm.

Our worst season ever? That's an easy one. In the spring of 1977 the orchards were in full bloom and looked beautiful. Overnight the temperatures dropped to well below freezing and we consequently lost nearly all of our apples. At that time a "normal" season would have yielded around 125,000 bushels, but we picked only 2,000.
