What is the best way to find out what's happening at the farm? The best way is to sign up for our email newsletter, The Cider Press, and to go to What¹s Happening Now, located under General Information on our website. This is updated regularly and will provide information pertaining to crop availability, weather related information, etc.

Do you have a market? We owned a retail market located on U.S. Route 40 that we sold in 1977, and several years ago we began to retail products from a tent that is set up at the intersection of Morse Road and State Route 310.

Is the State Route 161 construction project going to affect your farm? Since we are located on Morse Road there will be no direct impact, but in the long run it should make it easier for people traveling from Franklin County to get to our farm.

How long have you been growing apples? The Lynd family is in its seventh generation of apple growers. A.T. Lynd and his wife Vesta moved their six sons to our current Morse Road location in 1919, and Andy Lynd represents the fourth generation of Lynds to grow apples in central Ohio.

We heard you sold your farm, is that true? Yes and no. Since 1919 when we originally purchased property on Morse Road we have bought and sold property to meet the goals and priorities of the owners. We have not sold the farm on Morse Road to outside developers.

How do you pick all of those apples? All of our apples are picked by hand, one at a time, by primarily migrant laborers. During an average year over 12 million apples will be harvested!

How many acres do you own? We operate orchards in two separate locations in Licking County. The Morse Road farm is just under 400 acres and the Sportsman Club Road farm, located ten miles north of the "main" farm, is just under 200 acres.

Are there any other locations where we can buy your products? We participate in the Grove City farmer's market on Saturday mornings throughout the summer. You can also purchase our jams, jellies, and sauces at Nutcracker Sweets restaurant, located at the intersection of State Route 310 and Broad Street in Pataskala

Do you ship apples? Yes. Go to our online store to find many of our products that we can ship for you.

What crops do you grow? We grow apples, peaches, tart cherries, plums, pears, blackberries, sweet corn, pumpkins, gourds, indian corn, and daylilies.

Can we bring our dog to the farm? We're sorry, but in the interest of the safety of all our customers we no longer allow our customers to bring their dogs to the farm.

Do you take credit cards, personal checks? We accept credit cards for daylily sales and sales made through our online store, but do not at this time take credit cards for orchard sales. We are always willing to accept good checks!

Do you provide picking containers? We provide containers at no additional charge and require that they be used instead of containers from home. However, we do suggest that you bring laundry baskets or other large containers to help prevent your bags of fruit from accidentally spilling on the way home.
