• 2 C Flour
  • 1/2 C Oatmeal
  • 1 C Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 C Soft Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 C Water
  • 1 C Sugar
  • 3 tsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 4-5 thinly sliced apples (Connie likes Evercrisp)
Mix first 5 ingredients.  Set aside 1 C of mixture & press the remainder into a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Combine next 3 ingredients and heat in saucepan on medium until thickened.

Add the last 2 ingredients to the heated mixture.

Pour into baking dish and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top.

Bake 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees
